Dog Park Meeting January 28th
The Dog Park Association wants to build a second dog park in North Johnson City and the first step to this process is to appear before the Park Advisory Board. The Dog Park Association will be on the Park Advisory Board Agenda for the January 28, 2010 meeting, which will take place in the Winged Deer Park Conference Room at 4 p.m. We are listed under Public Input right after call to order and approval of the minutes which will be right around 4 p.m. Anyone who wants can attend, but the group needs to be orderly and let one person do the talking. You are welcome to stay the entire meeting, if you want, but after the initial discussion they will move on to other items on the agenda. Please come out and show your support for the new park!!!

Johnson City Dog Park now has a Group on Facebook

The Johnson City Dog Park Association has created a group for all to join.  We thought this might be a good way for the members to share stories and get to know each other.  We choose Facebook to create this group as so many people are on Facebook.   If you want to join the group you will need to signup for an account which is Free if you don't have one.  Other wise you can click on the banner or HERE to check it out.

Board Meetings open to the Members and Public

The board meetings of the Johnson City Dog Park Association  occur the first Monday of each month and are conducted in the Board room of the Johnson City Parks Offices at Winged Deer Park.   Our meetings begin at 7PM and typically last 1-2 hours.  The Johnson City Parks Office is a white building resembling a residence inside of Winged Deer park in North Johnson City.   The board room is at the rear side of the park office, so you'll need to go around the back of the building.

We would love for you to come and participate in our board meetings.

Our remaining board meetings for 2009 will be:
Monday, October 5th
Monday, November 2nd
Monday, December 7th

Hope to see you there!
